31 August 2007 - Huge spider web appears in Texas, USA
Millions of small spiders have been spinning away at Lake Tawakoni State Park in Texas, USA. The web is allegedly larger than a football field and covers a 180m (590ft) stretch of trees and shrubs in the park.
Experts say the web is either the work of social cobweb spiders that work together, or it has been created by spiders spreading out from a central point. The park superintendent, Donna Garde has sent CLOUD news some amazing photos of the spider web. View the amazing huge spider web photos .
