18 August 2007 - 200mph winds batter Taiwan as Super Typhoon Sepat (Category 5 equivalent) causes chaos.
The Typhoon was intercepted by James Reynolds, a British storm chaser, living in China. CLOUD news caught up with James, who took some amazing photos capturing the moment when the Typhoon made landfall in Taiwan. "Sepat was one hell of a ride. Up and about without a wink of sleep for 40 hours, and my word the flooding was insane. Sepat was also difficult to photograph since it made landfall during the dark".View more of the stunning Super Typhoon Sepat photos . Last update : 08-10-2007 18:47
